Daniel X continues his mission to eliminate the dangerous extraterrestrials hiding on Earth, but his next target makes the hunt deeply personal. Phosphorius Beta, a powerful fire demon, has a connection to the murder of Daniel's parents and commands followers capable of turning flame into a devastating weapon. Daniel travels to England, where ancient sites, legends and druidic history become part of the battle. To defeat an enemy who can exploit his weaknesses, he must push his ability to create objects and living companions from thought further than ever before. The journey also forces him to confront painful memories, protect his closest friends and risk travelling through time before the demon's plans bring destruction on an enormous scale.
