Ragel Naude was once a successful artist, but after the death of her young son she withdraws from her husband Stephan, her friend Anke and Tienie, who has cared for her like a mother. Unable to paint or manage ordinary life, Ragel leaves home without telling anyone and travels to a small town in search of herself. There she meets another grieving mother whose daughter was raped and murdered. Through their shared pain, the women begin to understand suffering, companionship and the comfort they believe God offers through Jesus. Ragel's journey becomes a difficult movement back toward life and love.
