A family gathers around a home and landscape filled with memories, but old misunderstandings continue to shape the present. Lucy has carried a childhood belief about her father's death for years, and the version of events she accepted has left deep emotional scars. As relatives return and relationships shift, fragments of the past begin to challenge what she remembers. The Cornish setting frames a story of grief, family loyalty and the harm caused when children interpret adult secrets without the full truth. Reconciliation becomes possible only when long-protected facts are finally brought into the open.
